Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a membership, class pack, introductory offer or participating in any class, event or service provided by Bohemia Dance Pty Ltd, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

  • Memberships automatically renew until cancelled.

  • A minimum of two (2) weeks written notice is required to cancel or pause a membership.

  • Cancellation or pause requests must be submitted via email to info@bohemiadance.com.au.

  • Membership payments will continue during the notice period.

Memberships

  • Memberships may be frozen with a minimum of two (2) weeks notice.

  • Freeze periods may range from one (1) to ten (10) weeks.

  • Freeze requests must be submitted in writing.

Membership Freezes

Payments

  • Members are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available for scheduled payments.

  • Failed or declined payments may result in account suspension, booking restrictions or additional fees.

  • Outstanding balances must be settled before further bookings can be made.

Refund policy

  • All purchases are non-refundable.

  • No refunds are provided for missed, unused or expired classes.

  • Credits or extensions may be issued at management discretion only.

Class Bookings & Cancellations

  • Classes must be cancelled at least two (2) hours prior to the scheduled class time to retain the class credit.

  • Late cancellations and no-shows will result in forfeited credits.

  • Class packs and credits must be used within their stated validity period and do not roll over.

Bohemia Dance Pty Ltd reserves the right to:

  • Cancel, reschedule or substitute classes.

  • Change instructors where required.

  • Combine classes where necessary.

  • Cancel classes that do not meet minimum attendance requirements.

Class Availability

Participation & Health

Participation in classes and activities is undertaken entirely at your own risk.
You acknowledge that:

  • Pole dancing, aerial fitness and related activities are physically demanding.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and medically fit to participate.

  • You will notify instructors of any injury, illness, pregnancy or medical condition that may affect participation.

  • You have sought medical advice where appropriate.

  • You may stop participation at any time if you feel unwell, unsafe or uncomfortable.

Safety Requirements

Participants agree to:

  • Follow all instructor directions at all times.

  • Use safety mats, spotting and equipment as instructed.

  • Stop participation immediately if feeling dizzy, unwell or in pain.

  • Not attend classes under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Bohemia reserves the right to remove any participant acting in an unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate manner.

Studio Conduct

Students agree to:

  • Treat instructors, staff and fellow students with respect.

  • Respect studio equipment and facilities.

  • Wear appropriate attire for their class.

  • Arrive on time, as late arrivals may not be permitted for safety reasons.

Any inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from class or suspension of membership.

Age Requirements

  • Participants aged 18 years and over may register independently.

  • Participants aged 16–17 years require written parent or guardian consent.

  • Certain classes or events may have additional age restrictions.

  • Bohemia Dance Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal property brought into the studio.Photography & Media ConsentPhotos and videos may occasionally be taken during classes, events or performances for promotional purposes.If you do not wish to appear in marketing content, please notify our team prior to class.

Personal Belongings

Release of Liability

By participating in any activity at Bohemia Dance Pty Ltd, you acknowledge and accept that participation involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:
 

  • Muscle strains and sprains

  • Falls and impact injuries

  • Dislocations and fractures

  • Illness or medical complications

  • Emotional distress

  • Serious injury or death

    You agree that:

  • You participate voluntarily and entirely at your own risk.

  • Bohemia Dance Pty Ltd, its owners, instructors, employees and contractors are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from participation.

  • You release and discharge Bohemia Dance Pty Ltd from all claims arising from your participation.

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bohemia Dance Pty Ltd against any claims relating to your participation.

  • You authorise Bohemia staff to seek emergency medical treatment on your behalf if required and accept responsibility for any associated costs.
    Studio Rights
    Bohemia Dance Pty Ltd reserves the right to:

  • Refuse entry.

  • Cancel bookings.

  • Suspend memberships or accounts.

  • Amend pricing, schedules, services, policies and terms at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.

By purchasing services or participating in classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
